CANN---A. Cann died at his home at Hockaday June 12, 1917, aged 59 years, 10 months and 1 day. He was born in Wellington county, Canada, August 11, 1857. He was married to Olive C. Cripps Nov. 20, 1889. To this union were born nine children, seven of whom survive, Mrs. John Simpson, Mrs. Stanley Conway, Everett, Vernie, Iva Mae, Percy and Willie Cann.
Services were held at the Free Methodist church at Hockaday, conducted by Rev. Burt of Beaverton. Interment in Butman cemetery.
