Roena "Ronnie" M. Coutchie, age 84, of Grandville, passed away unexpectedly and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Sidney T. Coutchie; brothers, Dale and Merlin Conner.

Ronnie was a kind and loving mother and grandmother who had an unconditional love for her family and friends. She always had a contagious smile that was evident to all who knew her. Blessed with the gift of conversation, she also always had a listening ear for those who needed to talk. She enjoyed many crafts over the years, especially sewing, macramae, and ceramics.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy and Debbie Coutchie, Darla and Tom Mikita; grandchildren, Coral Coutchie, Courtney Coutchie, Lindsay Mikita, Dan and Ashley Mikita; great grandson, Travis James Kerkstra; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Judy Conner, Gene and Sharron Coutchie; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday 1:30 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Dr. David Lee Smith officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-5 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association.
