John H. Livingston, of New Oxford, entered into Heavenly slumber July 17 in Gettysburg.

He was the son of the late Ezra and Anna E. (Diehl) Livingston.

Mr. Livingston was a member of First United Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Oxford, New Oxford Fire Company, New Oxford Social and Athletic Club, Irishtown Fire Company, Adams County Volunteer Fireman's Association and Adams County Fire Police Association.

Survivors include four step-daughters, Dolores M. Smith of Hanover, Constance A. Pizzoli of New Oxford, Victoria A. Gladhill of Littlestown and Christine E. Rimestad of Fort Washington, MD; five step-sons, Frederick P. Noel of Hanover, Donald I. Noel of Tucson, AZ, Wilbur J. Noel of York, Gary L. Noel of York and Michael A. Noel of New Oxford; 29 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one step son, David A. Noel and six brothers.
