Charles Kitzerow, 66, of 1317 Madison Street, Two Rivers, died Saturday night at the Two Rivers municipal hospital following a two weeks’ illness.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2pm from the Beduhn funeral home in Two Rivers with the Rev. W.G. Haese officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery.
Mr. Kitzerow was born in this city in 1877 and moved to Two Rivers when a young man. He worked as a sausage maker and butcher in Milwaukee and Kewaunee before returning to Two Rivers in 1920. He has been employed in markets in that city in recent years. When the Carl’s market closed he took a job with the Paragon Electric company. He married Minnie Pufahl on July 17, 1900.
She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Vullings of Two Rivers; three sons, LeRoy and Arthur of Two Rivers and Charles Jr. of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. George Thill of Milwaukee and two brothers, Bernard Kitzerow of Manitowoc and Herman of Kewaunee.
