Bernadine A. "Bert" Decker, age 82, of Kellnersville, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 9, 2017 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center of Manitowoc.The former Bernadine Beyer was born on April 13, 1935 in Brown County, daughter of the late Peter and Rose (Kaczmarowski) Beyer. She attended schools in the local area. Bert married Edwin J. "Fuzzy" Decker on May 22, 1954 at New Franken. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1995. She farmed with her husband at Menchalville for 11 years and worked as head cook at Cedar Ridge Restaurant for 6 years before moving to Melnik where she and her husband owned and operated Fuzzy's & Bert's Bar and Restaurant for 18 years. Upon selling the bar, the couple moved to Kellnersville in 1981. Bert was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. She enjoyed collecting antique glassware, old records, and especially enjoyed fishing.Survivors include her three children: John (Debbie) Decker, Manitowoc; Theresa (Raymond) Carviou, Marinette; Thomas (Terry) Decker, Two Rivers; five grandchildren: Jamie (Brad) Lambrecht, Francis Creek; Kyle (Brianna) Decker, Bowlingbrook, IL; Andrew (Kate) Carviou, Manitowoc; Stephanie Decker, Madison; Nathan (Kassie) Decker, Branch; four great-grandchildren: Greta and Theodore Decker;, Bowlingbrook, IL; Austin and Kara Lambrecht, Francis Creek; one sister: Beatrice Salentine, Luxemburg; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Gerald Beyer, Crivitz; Peter (Barbara) Beyer, Jr., Green Bay; Donald (Kathy) Beyer, Luxemburg; David (Linda) Beyer, Green Bay; Nancy Hansen, Green Bay; one brother-in-law: Earl Martin, Luxemburg, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Peter and Rose Beyer; her husband: Edwin J. "Fuzzy" Decker; one sister: Eleanor Martin; one brother: Dick Beyer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: William (Florence) Decker; Lillian (William) Novachek; Joseph (Mayme) Decker.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 522 Tower Avenue, Kellnersville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma with entombment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
