Raymond Berkshire, 81, Rt. 4, Lawrenceville and formerly of Olney, died Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. in the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, IL
Services will be in the Nichols-Smith Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be in the funeral home. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
Mr. Berkshire was born Jan. 20, 1902, in Chauncey, the son of Elmer and Adie (Perrott) Berkshire.
He was employed by Marathon Oil Co in Robinson and Texaco.
Survivors include his wife Gwendolyn; a son, Ron, Olney, IL; a daughter, Janie McCray, Glen Bay, WI.; a sister, Mary Chavder, Strongville, OH; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
