ALICE LAURA CAUDLE, age 94, of Cockeysville, MD, formerly of Harford County, died on July 15, 2006 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Crockett, VA, she was the daughter of the late Oran and Esther Wood Snow, and the wife for 48 years of the late Garnett "Reds" Caudle. She worked as a civil servant for many years as a meat wrapper in a US Government commissary. She had been a long-time resident of Harford County who enjoyed cooking and gardening. Her family said that she loved her church where she studied the Bible, and that she also loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Caudle is survived by one son, James R. Caudle, and his wife, Patricia, of Cockeysville, MD; five grandchildren, Joseph A. Moretz, of Crofton, MD, Laureen A. Gallagher, and her husband, William, of Fawn Grove, PA, Stephen A. Caudle of Cockeysville, MD, Mary A. Leahy, and her husband, John, of Manchester, MD and Aimee V. Caudle of Cockeysville, MD; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Caudle was predeceased by one daughter and one son-in-law, Evelyn Moretz and Joseph Moretz; one grandson, Ronald L. Moretz; one brother, Ralph Snow; and three sisters, Zenna Bass, Ella Keenan, and Mary Phillippi.
