Frances R. Nucech, age 87, of Chisholm, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. She was born on September 2, 1927, in Chisholm to Louis and Jeanette (Burton) Ambrozich. Frances was united in marriage on April 27, 1946, in Chisholm to Albert (Ben) Nucech. She worked for 31 years at the garment factory in Chisholm. Frances was a homemaker who loved to cook for her family on Thanksgiving and Christmas. She enjoyed feeding the deer in the winter and her birds all year long, as well as working in her garden and flower beds. “Franny Oakley” despised the rabbits for enjoying a meal of flowers. Her special joy was her two great-grandkids who made her laugh and act young.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis (Gail) and Ronald Nucech; grandchildren, Crystal (Kyle) Nucech-Duesler, Jason (Jessica) and Darrel Nucech; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Albert (Ben) on May 14, 1980; siblings, Anne Gumbus, Raymond Ambrozich, Frank Ambrozich and Lucille Gradisher.
Burial was in Chisholm Cemetery.
