Mrs. Charlotte B. Floyd of Ticonderoga, wife of the late Major William M. Floyd, died Saturday (March 30). She was 83 years old. Mrs. Floyd was born October 12, 1879 (sic 1878) in Lime Rock, Conn., the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Barnum. Mr. Barnum was a former Connecticut State Senator. Survivors include two sons, Walter B. Gilbert of Ticonderoga and John M. Gilbert III of Vallejo, California. The body was placed in the receiving vault in Mount Hope Cemetery pending interment in Valley View Cemetery in the spring.
