William B. "Willie" Grossnickel, 66, of Wolfsville, MD, passed away Tuesday July 28, 2015 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.Born January 17, 1949 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Willie Charles and Virginia Mae (Minnick) Grossnickel.He was a graduate of Middletown High School and Frederick Community College with a degree in Architectural Design.He retired from the Federal Government as an Architectural Designer.Willie loved to drive his 1969 Mach 1 and attending car shows. He enjoyed carpentry work and building furniture.He was a member of South Mountain Rod and Gun Club, Cascade American Legion post 239 and the NRA.He is survived by one brother, Randy Alan Grossnickel and wife Linda of Frederick, MD.He was preceded in death by one brother, Ernie Ray Grossnickel.
