George E. Wery, 56, 915 Reber St., died early this morning in a local hospital after a long illness. He was born in. Dyckesville, and married the forms Doris DeBeck in 1930. Mr. Wery farmed in Dyckesville until 1942 when he moved to the Town of Howard where he worked at a mink ranch. In 1943 he came to Green Bay. He was employed by Algoma Hammock Co. 1959 when he retired due to ill health. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of SS. Peter. and Paul Church.
Survivores include his wife; one son, Albert, Green Bay; His mother, Mrs. Katherine Wery, Dyckesville; three grandchildren, Amy Ann, Lorri Ann and Rickey Allen; four brothers, Emmanuel, Luxemburg; John, Champion; Clarence, Brussels; Clifford, Dyckesville; four sisters, Mrs. Joseph Hermans, Dyckesville; Mrs. Matt Kriens, Kewaunee; Mrs Frank Klisch, Green Bay, Rt. 2; Mrs. Raymond Dolski, Glenmore.
At Malcore Funeral Home after 2p.m. Sunday. Rosary 8 each, evening: Monday by Msgr. Peter Skell and Holy Name Society. Requiem Mass 10 a.m., Tuesday, SS. Peter and Paul Church. Burial in Allouez, Cemetery.
