Brown City, March 24
Mrs. Allen Durance, 81, resident of this vicinity for more than 50 years, died Tuesday night in her home in Maple Valley township after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. CWT Friday in the Maple Valley Latter Day Saints church. Rev. R. W. Herber, pastor of the Brown City Mennonite church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Valley Center cemetery.
Mrs. Durance was born Aug. 24. 1862 in Lockport, N. Y., and was married to Allen Durance in 1877. Mr. Durance died in September, 1942. She is survived by a son, Fred Durance, Maple Valley township.
