Passed to Her Rest.

The many friends of Mrs. Abby D. Ensign will regret to learn of her death, which occurred after a brief illness, in the town of York early Monday morning, Mrs. Ensign was the wife of Job H. Ensign, and the time of her death was in the seventy- sixth year or her age. She was the daughter of Abner and Mary Cory, and was born in Wyoming, N. Y., where she lived until her marriage, when she removed to the town of York, where she has since resided.

The members of her family who survive her are her husband Job H. Ensign, three sons, Abner C. residing in Coranado, Cal., Seymour D. and Lewis H. of the town of York, and one daughter, Mrs. W. D. Wright of Washington D. C. Four sisters also, Mrs. Jackson Keeney of Erie, Mich., Mrs. Seth I. Webster of Wyoming, N. Y., Mrs. Frank W. Capwell of Dale, N. Y., and Mrs. P. A. Gould of Ashland, Neb.

The funeral services were held at her late residence on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, and were conducted by Rev. A. B. Taylor of the Methodist church, of which she was a member.
