Mr. Billy Andrew Gregory, age 77, husband of Miriam Eaves Gregory of 470 Bob Little Rd., Jonesville passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Gregory was born in Lockhart, SC on May 16, 1938 a son of the late Albert Andrew Gregory and Mattie Bailey Gregory. He was retired after 30 years from Milliken and Company—Cedar Hill Plant and had worked for the Union County Recycling Center for over 13 years. Mr. Gregory was a member of Foster’s Chapel United Methodist Church where he served on numerous committees, oversaw the Senior Adults, and served as church custodian. He was also a Mason with Mt. Joy Lodge 203 and was a former Jaycee.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are four sons, Tim Gregory (Terry) of Gaffney, Mike Gregory of Jonesville, Chris Gregory and wife Kristal of Jonesville, and Chad Gregory and wife Gina of Jonesville; four grandchildren, Aaron Gregory, Bailey Gregory, Riley Gregory, and Miles Gregory; two great grandchildren, Aaron Gregory, Jr. and Kadence Gregory; one step grandson, Joey Smith; two step great grandchildren, A.J. Smith and Brody Smith. He was predeceased by one sister, Jean Carroll.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Foster’s Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Glenn Ribelin and Rev. Larry Hyder. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Keith Kirby, Doran Eaves, Derrill Eaves, Jeffrey Bright, Troy Knox, and James Gregory. Members of the Irving Newton Sunday School Class along with Bo Hamm and Paul Black are asked to sit in a group.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 3:00 PM Sunday afternoon, prior to the services at the church.

Memorials may be made to Foster’s Chapel United Methodist Church Children’s Fund, PO Box 611 Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home, 470 Bob Little Rd., Jonesville, SC 29379.
