Russell "Colt" Lee, age 29, of Osteen, was tragically taken from us on July 19, 2006. He was born August 25, 1976 in Orlando. He worked for All Systems Group in Lake Mary. Colt was a hard worker and loving father who did everything for his five year old son, Blake, "his best buddy". Every Friday night Colt and Blake watched wrestling together and then practiced the "moves" on each other. Colt had a unique laugh and all his family and friends knew they could count on him. He was very protective of his friends. He loved to fish, cook, play pool and boating on the St. Johns River. All his pitbull dogs were very special to him. Colt had a special soul mate, Rachel Wheaton (Blake's mother) of Sanford. They went through everything imaginable for seven years and continued to love each other. He was kind to his mother and was her strength. Colt is survived by his mother, Kathy Lee of Osteen; father, Leo Lee of Osteen; son, Blake Lee, of Osteen; brother, Larry Lee of Raiford; grandparents; Walter and Evelyn Lindsey, of Orange Park; Blake's mother, Rachel Wheaton of Sanford; several aunts and uncles; many cousins, nephews and an abundance of friends. Visitation for Colt will be Saturday, July 22, 2006 from 12PM until the 2PM Service at City Church, Airport Blvd., Sanford, FL with Rev. Richard Wagner officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Park Cemetery, Lake Mary, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions for the Benefit of Blake Lee Account at any Wachovia Bank.
