Jameer M. Mackey, age 5, entered into eternal life Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Albany, N.Y., Jameer attended the New Covenant Charter School and graduated from kindergarten going into first grade. Survived by his beloved mother, Deborah E. Marshall of Albany; loving father, James M. Mackey of Albany; siblings, Schmeika and JarQuell Williams of Albany; grandparents, John and Elizabeth Marshall of Albany, Elsie Mackey of Hudson, N.Y. and the late Melvin Lett of Ala. Also survived by one niece, Nyairah Neeley and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service Monday at 11 a.m. at St. John's C.O.G.I.C., 94 Herkimer St. Calling hours Monday 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at church. Interment, Graceland Cemetery. The family will receive callers at Capital City Lodge #78, 120 Madison Ave., Albany following the services.
