~*~ Some people touch our lives only briefly while others leave a lasting impression and are never forgotten , this would be you Barry xoxox (Donna G. Hash) ~*~

My parents Wedding Anniversary September 14, 1979
Donna and Barry Dobson Married at Aetna Grove Baptist Church, Summersville, Green County, Kentucky
Only child : Samara M. Dobson Bell and spouse Robbie Grandchildren : Ethan Ryan Dobson, Austin Robert Grady Bell, and Mattie Brooklyn Bell and one step grandchild : Cheyenne Bell.

Barry was the father to our only child Samara Marie Dobson Bell. The day she was born was the happiest day of his life. We had our little Angel and we named her Samara Marie . We started our family in Green County, Ky and then we moved to Taylor County . Barry always had a soft spot in his heart for his only child. We both decided that one angel was enough for us . He taught his only daughter how to hunt, fish, just like a little tomboy . When she got a little older Barry started teaching her how to ride horses. Then we always went on horse rides, showed horses, and raised them. It was a full time job, along with us farming, milking cows raising tobacco we always stayed busy. Farming was our way of life then, We all loved doing it though. We would always listen to REO Speedwagon while grooming our horses. In his life he had some demons like everyone else. We had our up and downs, but we did survive. His dad and mom and I use to take Samara fishing, just to watch her catch blue gill, she would be so happy . To our grandchildren they called us Maw and Paw Dobson , Barry and I decided that we wanted our grandchildren to call us what he always called his grandparents .We have three grandchildren together, Ethan, Austin and Mattie, and one step grandchild Cheynne . Our grandchildren is everything to us both and always will be, that is one of the things we shared together in life...Barry had cancer and had been fighting it for over a year. He was living at home with his mother Rachel, after his dad Quincy died she never wanted to live by herself... I told him he should quit smoking and he said he would think about it, but he never did. We had stayed in touch in a round about way, since our daughter was of legal age. He died doing what he loved, riding horses. His whole family has always rode horses so it was only natural that he would too. The death Angel came into his life on August 1, 2015 to take him home, so he could join his dad Quincy and little sister Kathy Lynn. The death Angel takes your breath away and leaves broken hearts... ~*~ Re's song ~*~

Her daddy gave her, her first pony
Then taught her to ride
She climbed high in that saddle
Fell I don't know how many times
He taught her a lesson that she learned
Maybe a little too well

Cowgirls don't cry, ride, baby, ride
Lessons in life are gonna show you in time
Soon enough you gonna know why
It's gonna hurt every now and then
If you fall get back on again
Cowgirls don't cry

She grew up, she got married
But never was quite right
She wanted a house, a home and babies
He started comin' home late at night
She didn't let him see it break her heart
She didn't let him see her fall apart

'Cause cowgirls don't cry, ride, baby, ride
Lessons of life are gonna show you in time
Soon enough you gonna know why
It's gonna hurt every now and then
If you fall get back on again
Cowgirls don't cry

Phone rang early one mornin'
Her momma's voice, she'd been cryin'
Said it's your daddy, you need to come home
This is it, I think he's dyin'
She laid the phone down by his head
Last words that he said

Cowgirls don't cry, ride, baby, ride
Lessons of life show us all in time
Too soon God will let you know why
If you fall get right back on
The good Lord calls everybody home
Cowgirl don't cry.

"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven ~ A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance. A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing. A time to search, and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep, and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and a time to speak. A time to love, and a time to hate; A time for war, and a time for peace. ."
