Ruth Anna Beach, 74, of Galion, died Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, MI of natural causes. She was formerly of New Washington. Ruth Anna was born in Crestline on October 27, 1940 to the late Sherman and Laura (Berry) Argo. She married Calvin George Beach on February 10, 1961 and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2011. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #303, Galion. She loved planting and caring for her flowers. Ruth Anna cherished laughing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her two daughters Lisa Gollihue, Galion and Laura Vermilyer, Niles, MI, her son Larry L. Beach, Bucyrus, her five grandchildren, her nine great-grandchildren, her brother John Argo, AZ, her half-sister Betty Griffeth, Columbus, her brother-in-law Glen Shifley, Galion and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two sisters Mary Shifley and Louise Jones. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion, with Pastor Richard Genzman officiating.
