Ridgeley, WV- Pamela Sue Bowman, 51, of Ridgeley, died Sunday, August 2, 2015, at home. Born August 24, 1963 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of Jannis (Timbrook) Malone, Short Gap, and the late Albert Malone. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Glenn Bowman, and a brother-in-law, Steven Raines.
Mrs. Bowman was a graduate of Frankfort High School. She trained and worked as a hair stylist at A Cut Above, Hair Control, and Razor's Edge. More recently, Pam had been employed by Mineral County School Board as a cook at Keyser High School.
In addition to her mother, Pam is survived by her husband, Rodney Bowman; her daughter, Meghan “Meg” Davis, and husband Mark, Short Gap, and their two children Hunter and Pazley; her son, Christopher Bowman, Frostburg; sister, Shelly Raines, her daughter Kati Blankenship, husband Josh, and their children, Gunnar, Amelia and Layla, and daughter Kelsi Clites, husband John, and their daughter Harper; her sister Wendy Sgaggero, husband Brian, and their son Seth. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Julia Bowman; her sister-in-law Samantha Miller, husband Eric, and sons Cameron and Colton; special friend, Bill Kenny; and her precious dog, Mary Jane.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Route 28, Fort Ashby, on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 AM, with Pastor Dan Dennison and Chaplain Melissa Jessen officiating. Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
