She was the widow of Arthur K. Haislip Sr.; and was also preceded in death by a son, Arthur K. Haislip Jr.
She was a lifelong member of Cave Spring Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Irene B. Semones, Dot and Leon Stanley, all of Roanoke, Jean and Kenneth Morrison, Vinton, Carol and Jack Stump, Roanoke; a son, Ronald D. Haislip, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Wendell Griffith; a sister, Evelyn Lewis, both of Roanoke.
Services will be at Oakey's South Chapel, 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 1998. Pastor Rick Elmore will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel after 12 noon Tuesday.
