Statement given by Pvt. Marvin R. Shanks, Co F 110th Inf. "On the morning of September 27, 1918, Cpl. Lawrence S. Little was shot through the body by machine gun bullets and died in a few minutes after being hit. This was about three hundred yards south of Montblainville, along the Aire River."
