Lisa J. Ommert Ryan, 48, of 410 St John's Circle, Phoenixville, Chester Co, PA, lost a long and courageous battle to breast cancer on Sat. July 8, 2006, at her home with friends and family at her side.
She was born on May 30, 1958 in Chambersburg, Franklin Co, PA. She was the daughter of the late Wayne Hoover Ommert, who died on May 8, 2002 and Mary C. Bender Ommert of Shippensburg, PA.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, David L. (his wife, Denise)Ommert; and two nieces, Jessica R. and Erika L. Ommert, all of Shippensburg, PA. She was preceded in death by a brother; Jeffrey W. Ommert, who died Feb. 4, 2003.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 13, 2006 at the Mongul UB Church, Shippensburg, PA. Burial was in the Mongul UB Church Cem.
