Death of Murrell Scott
Murrell Scott, 69 former Cambridge resident died suddenly of a heart attack Tuesday while being taken fromhis home in Des Moines to a hospital.
Last Rites will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. from teh Hamilton Funeral Home in Des Moines Burial will be in the Cambridge Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Melvessa; two daughters, Mrs. Zelda Chandler of Columbia, MO., Mrs Faye Geisler of Des Moines; three sons, Harold of Los Angeles, and Lynn & Ferris of Des Moines.

Murrell Scott Rites Are Set
Services for Murrell G. Scott, 69, of 333 S.E. Hartford ave., who was dead from a heart attack Tuesday on arrival at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in the cemetery at Cambridge.
Mr. Scott a native of Cambridge, was a farmer before his retirement in 1949. He lived in Arkansas before moving here a year ago.
Surviving are his widow, Melvessa; three sons, Harold M of Pasadena, Cal., and Ferris K and Lynn A. both of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs Faye Geisler of Des Moines and Mrs. Zelda Chandler of Columbia, Mo., 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
