She was a lifetime resident of Garden City.
On Feb. 11, 1961, she married Wallace Bascue at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. He preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 2009.
Survivors include eight children, Kevin Bascue of Garden City, Brian Bascue of Wichita, Pam Ricard of Manhattan, Brenda Amaro of Olathe, Brad Bascue of Olathe, Jenny Maier of Garden City, Chad Bascue of Olathe, and Becky Rundell of Olathe; two brothers, Aurelius Knoll and Marcellyn Knoll, both of Garden City; three sisters, Adeline Burgardt and Agnella Horning, both of Garden City, and Cyrilla L'Ecuyer of Eudora; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; five brothers, Gregory Knoll, Edwin Knoll, Edward Knoll, Clarence Knoll and Eugene Knoll; and two sisters, Josephine Meier and Geneieve Meier.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Vigil Service will be 7:30 p.m. today at the church. Interment will take place immediately following funeral services in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City. Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Glorianne Bascue Memorial Fund.
