Morris William Yowell was the son of William G.J. Yowell and wife, Mary Elizabeth Morris, who divorced by 1880.

It is thought that Morris William Yowell was married three times, was born and lived in Tennessee, then lived in Oklahoma, and finally lived in Florida where he is reported to be buried in an unmarked grave next to his mother. His death certificate says he died on 2 Aug 1952 in Lewisburg, Marshall, Tennessee. It is a guess that Morris may have been in Tennessee visiting his oldest daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Clark, and her family, but his remains were buried in Florida.

Morris Yowell's first marriage was to Lou Retha Burns and they had two children, a son named Willie M. Yowell (June 1893-October 1893), and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Yowell Clark (1894-1974), both born in Marshall Co., Tennessee.

"There is a Morris Yowell age 40 and wife Marta age 27 in Pittsburg Co., Oklahoma in 1910. It shows that he and his parents were born in Tennessee and that this is his 2nd marriage. There are no children listed in the household. They have been married 10 years and it says that she has had no children.

In 1920, he is still in Oklahoma with a new wife (Miriam G. Hause/House) who he married Sept. 27, 1919 in Jackson, Missouri. He is listed as an apartment manager.

[[ Suggested edit: 1920 census Morris is not listed as Apartment manager. He is listed as Nursery Salesman Trees. All those people are not living with them. Census taker really messed up that census and placing people on wrong pages. Miriam is listed a different page.

In 1930 they have moved to St Petersburg, Florida and he is a gas station operator living with his wife Miriam, 9 year old daughter Gothie [?] and 82 year old mother Mary."

It appears that Morris William Yowell is buried next to his mother, Mary Elizabeth Morris Yowell, but his grave (PLOT 119-5-4) is unmarked while hers is marked. It is likely that his wife, Miriam Geneva House Yowell, is buried in this same location since her obituary states that she is buried in the Royal Palm Cemetery. (Sometimes the cemetery office doesn't have a burial card for a person, or a photo volunteer is unable to locate a grave -- it doesn't mean the grave is not there.)
