Andrew Klemola was killed in the coal mine disaster at Scofield, Utah, May 1st, 1900. His grave in the Scofield cemetery is not marked.
Over the past century, many of the original wooden head boards were lost and many of the locations of the graves are also lost. Here, on find a grave, I hope to record each of the 200 and those unidentified will be recorded in a virtual grave. Here these can be visited and their memory kept intact.

Hi! Thank you for your contribution in Scofield Cemetery.There are three Klemola brothers resting there who lost their lives in the mine accident in 1900. In 1899 they immigrated together with their mother, sister and a fourth brother from Kälviä, Finland to join their father who had come to US already in 1887.The fourth brother, Eric Albert Klemola, was saved from the disaster. He and the rest of the family returned to Finland, but some years later he immigrated again to US and never came back.
