Appalachia - Word has been received here of the death of Elmer Tipton Bozzell, 65, in Cincinnati General Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio, Thursday night after a short illness.
He was formerly of Roda, VA, where he had worked for Stonega Coke & Coal Company. He moved to Cincinnati more than 20 years ago.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Betty Lane, Daytona Beach, FL; two brothers, George of Appalachia and Everett of Mountain Home; and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Tucker, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Roy A. Green Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Claude Quillen will officiate. Burial will be in the American Legion Cemetery.
