Patricia C. “Pat” Pence passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Wheeler Heights Baptist Church with the Reverend Kenny Parham officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00-8:00PM at Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wheeler Heights Baptist Church, Children’s fund, 4318 Riggins Mill Road, Macon, GA 31217.
Ms. Pence is predeceased by her parents, Charles Cofer and Viola Brock; daughter, Julianne Pence; and brother, Tommy Cofer. Pat, along with her longtime friend, Marian Waldhauer, became business partners in 1988 as Pence/Waldhauer and D/B/A Martin Rubber Stamp and Engraving. She was a member of Wheeler Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Brian Pence (Tina) of Macon; sisters, Judy James (Johnny), Dona Schaeffer, and Brenda “Bunny” Freeman (Bartley) all of Macon; brother, Bart Brock (Mary) of Arvada, Colorado; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
