Mrs. Sherrer was a resident of Walton County. She worked as a cashier at Twin Lakes Superette. She enjoyed watching baseball, college football and professional football. She was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan.
Mrs. Sherrer is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband James Derby and second husband Rufus Sherrer.
Mrs. Sherrer is survived by her two sons John Derby and wife Paula of Satsuma, Florida and James Derby, II of Freeport, Florida; two daughters Darleen Goodwin and husband Eddie of Freeport, Florida and Diane Baaske of Ponce DeLeon, Florida, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation services will be held 6:00~8:00 PM, Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
Burial will follow in the Eden Cemetery in Crescent City, Florida.
