David Railsback was born 12 Dec 1769 in Loudoun County, Virginia or Rowan County, North Carolina. He died 17 Oct 1856 and buried in Elkhorn Cemetery. Stone. He married Sarah Stephens born 1774. Children: Mary married William Lewis; Enoch married Nany Fouts; Judith married Thomas Cobb; Edward married Francis Hunt; William married Mary Rhodes; Caleb and Matthew (twins) married Nancy and Sarah Barnhill; Joel married Elizabeth Fouts; David married Mary Smith; Nathan married Sina Hunt; John married Pamelia Davenport; Sarah married Larkin Gaar.
