CECIL ARNOLD
"Cecil L. "Cottie" Arnold, rural Atchison, died at his home Wednesday and was found by his daughter Thursday. His death was unexpected.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the graveside in High Prairie Cemetery with the Rev. Mal Roy, pastor of First Baptist church, officiating.
Mr. Arnold was born May 26,1882 in Leavenworth County the son of Alfred and Martha Bettis Arnold.
He was a lifelong resident of the Leavenworth-Atchison area and was a truck gardener. He was married to Catherine Ellzabeth Pointer June 10, 1915, at Leavenworth.
She died Feb. 18, 1965.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. LeAnna Dubuque RR 1 and Mrs. Ruth Peak Hope Mills, N.C.; two sons, Robert Arnold St. Joseph,MO., and Drew Arnold, Florida; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Friends may call at the Larkin-Brown Funeral Home."
