RICHARD MUELLER
Richard Mueller, 87, formerly of 1517 Washington St., Two Rivers, and who had been a residernt of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, for more than a year, died Wednesday afternoon at Two Rivers Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Paul W. Funk officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery.
Mr. Mueller was born Jan. 18, 1882, in Germany, where he married the former Martha Braunlich in 1904. The family immigrated to this country in 1914, settling at Ashland. In 1921 it moved to Wausau, coming to Two Rivers in 1925. Mr. Mueller was custodian of the former Rivoli Theater for many years before becoming employed by the Paragon Electirc (sic) Co., Inc. He retired 15 years ago. His wife preceded him in death in 1947. He was a longtime member of the Freier Saengerbund at Manitowoc.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leroy (Erna) Kitzerow of Two Rivers; two sons, Erhardt of Two Rivers and Kurt of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 2 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Monday when the casket will be taken to the church where the body will lie in state until the time of services.
