Beloved only child of Mohonri M. 'Jack' and Louise Marie 'Billie' (Burger) Biorn. Born in Auburn, CA, but grew up in Sacramento. Moved to West Sacramento at age 12. Graduated Woodland High School, Sac City College, and attended BYU. Served a mission (LDS) in the northern states. Served in USArmy during Korean war. Married Norma Welge in SLC in 1955 and raised (7) children. Retired from the State of California after 42 years of service with DMV. Died, age 69, just a few months after retiring. He had a 3-year battle with cancer (prostate...non-hodgekins lymphoma, esophageal, and finally fell and broke his back, ending up confined to a hospital bed.) Pre-deceased by parents and son, Jim. Survived by wife and children (Steven, Debbie, PattiAnn, John, Thomas, and Lori).
At 6'6" tall, basketball was his favorite sport. A PE major, the only sport he did not like was golf.
