Springfield-Mary Agnes Dee, 70 of Springfield died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at her home. She was born Aug. 10 1935, in Cantrall, the daughter of Alex and Anne Gillespie Wasilewski. She married John T. Dee Jr. in 1959 in Athens. A son, Daniel J. preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dee graduated form Athens High School in 1953. She was a homemaker and member of Christ the King Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Alter and Rosary Society and St. Vincent de Paul Society and asisted with funeralluncheons. She was involved with the Visiting Nurses Association and St. John's Breadline. She helped establish Winning Wheels, a nursing home for parapletatown.
Survivors: husband, John, two daughters, Maria M. (husband, Robert) Buchwald of Heidelberg, Germany, and Geri (husband, Glen) Bell of Athens; son, Jason (wifw, Janelle) Dee of Springfield; four grandchildren; two brothers, Mike (wife, Marilou) Wasilewski of Springfield and andy (wife, Elaine) Wasilewski of Marquette, Mich.; Sister, Harrison (husband, Morris Wilcoxon) of Athens; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funer Mass: 10 a.m. Firday, Christ the King Catholic Church, the Rev. Clinton P. Honkomp, O.P., officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
