KERR Barbara Miller, age 82, of Lexington, KY, passed away on August 2, 2015. Mrs. Kerr is survived by her son, James Kerr of Lexington, KY, daughter, Amy (Gregg) Waller, and grandson Cameron Whitehead, of Nashville, TN; and was preceded in death by her parents, Doris and George Miller, brothers Harry and Chris Miller and husband James Richard Kerr. Mrs. Kerr was born in Watertown, MA, and was a graduate of Boston University. An accomplished soloist, Mrs. Kerr was a devoted mother and grandmother who passionately supported her husband's pastoral career as long time minister of music in both Lexington, KY, and Metuchen, NJ. Known as a trusted friend to all those who knew her, Mrs. Kerr was an avid NY Times crossword lover who enjoyed nothing more than time spent with her PEO sisters, gardening, watching Kentucky basketball and New York Yankee games. Visitation will be held from 3-5pm on Saturday, August 15th at Southern Hills United Methodist Church.
