John Colvin "Johnnie" Deininger, was born November 1, 1919, in Lynchburg, Ohio to John Frederick and Leona May (Brewer) Deininger. He passed at the age of 64, in Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

Johnnie was a United States Army veteran of World War II, serving from 1941-1945. He married the love of his life Grace Louise Davis on October 4, 1944.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Leona Deininger.

Johnnie is survived by his wife, Grace Deininger; daughter, Shirley Schroth of Centerville, Ohio; sons, John Deininger from Hampton, Virginia, William Deininger, David Deininger both of Dayton, Ohio; brother, Lewis Deininger of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters, Gladys Ferry, Fayetteville, Ohio, Chris Scanlon of Lynchburg, Ohio; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
