Death Comes to Verne Resident
Mrs. Martha Barnett, 93, died at 4 p.m. Sunday at Verne.
Final rites were conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Boston Baptist Church by the Rev. Frank Goley. Burial was made in the Rock Spring Cemetery with the Faulkner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Nan Powers of Nevisdale and one brother, Bill Gibbs of Williamsburg.
