G. Victor Cicioni, 81, of 321 Spring St., Ringtown, died Friday evening at the Pottsville Hospital.
Born Jan. 5, 1924 in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Alberico and Maria (Greco) Cicioni. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Shenandoah.

An Army veteran of World War II, he owned and operated Marko Radiator of Shenandoah and Pottsville.

He will be remembered for his love of his family, and was an avid fisherman and hunter, as well as a gardener.

He was a member of the A.P. Damato Medal of Honor Legion Post, Shenandoah; a life member of the Shenandoah-East End Field and Stream, and a former member of the Moose Lodge, Shenandoah.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his brothers, Jack, Frank, John and Albert Cicioni, and his sister, Connie Romanello.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Irene Kutney; a son, Stephen (wife Cheryl) Cicioni, Lancaster; daughters, Arlene (husband Raymond) Sachleben, Ringtown, and Anna Marie (husband Robert) Decusky, Ringtown; a brother, Alfred Cicioni, Ringtown; a sister, Raphael Galinas, Chester; six grandchildren, Annette Cicioni, Joshua Sachleben, Neil Cicioni, Samantha Sachleben, Lindsay Sachleben and Melisa Decusky; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., 40 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Shenandoah, with interment in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
