James Henry "Harry" was born in Canada and was the fourth child of John P & Maria (Barr) Wheelihan. The family relocated to the Ellendale area when he was an infant. He had two living half sisters at the time of his birth, (Ada Wheelihan Dawes & Harriet Wheelihan Payne) & full siblings John DA, Zillah May, & Amelia. Brother William & sister Pansy were born on the family farm north of Ellendale. Harry died of tuberculosis while in Salt Lake City, UT at the age of 25.
