BABY GIRL KILLED
Provo, July 31, Pauline, the 16-months-old girl of D. J. Atherly of Lake View, was killed this morning at 7:45 by the work train on the Orem interurban. The train was coming toward Provo, passing the Atherly home about two miles north of town. The little girl was sitting between two ties on the track and was not observed until the train was too close to be stopped, there being a curve in the road and by reason of the child being between the ties. She raised up when the train approached and was struck by the fender, dyng soon after.
