Danny Floyd, 62, Stringtown Community, died at 10:20 p.m. Aug. 14, 2015, at the Hearthstone Place Nursing Home in Elkton of natural causes.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 at the Tabernacle United Methodist Church with the Rev. J.w. Durst officiating.
Burial will follow at the Tabernacle Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Todd County Funeral Home.
A native of Monticello, he was born Feb. 26, 1953, the son of the late Marvin Floyd Sr. and Mary Piercy Floyd.
He was a member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Floyd Sr. and one brother, Marvin Floyd Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Floyd, Stringtown Community; his mother, Mary Floyd, Elkton; two daughters, Casandra Powell, Elkton and Danielle Minton, Guthrie; two brothers, James Floyd, Hopkinsville and Robet Lee Floyd, Fairview; three sisters, Linda buck, Monticello, Brenda Knowles, Fairview and Elizabeth Mayes, Elkton; and five grandchildren.
