Dorothy M. Nessinger SHORTSVILLE - Dorothy M. Nessinger, the widow of Melvin W. Nessinger, died on Aug. 8, 2015. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Georgina) Nessinger and Thomas Nessinger; daughter, Mary Hager (Al Gulvin); brother, Glenn (Charlotte) Herendeen; sister, Celia White; sisters-in-law, Joyce, Phyllis and Betty Herendeen; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Floyd, Carl, Lyndon and James Herendeen. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Shortsville. She was a member of Shortsville First Presbyterian Church. Friends may call on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Sainsbury Funeral Home, 78 W. Main St., Shortsville. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery, Shortsville.
