Frank R. Bean, 79, died today at Wilma's nursing home, after an illness of several months.
Mr. Bean was employed by the Iowa Southern Utilities Co., for approximately 20 years prior to his retirement in 1952.
The son of Gus and Anna Hobbs Bean June 1, 1881 in Ottumwa. He had been a resident of Ottumwa for 30 years. He married Ruth A. McMaster in Ottumwa on December 10, 1902. She died October 13, 1954. He was also preceded in death by a son, Floyd; a daughter, Edna; and four sisters.
