Geneva Mae Smith Rainey, 85, widow of the late Clyde Thomas Rainey, Sr., died Thursday August 20, 2015 at the Clark Regional Medical Center.

A native of Winchester, KY, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian Maybrier Smith. She was a homemaker, a member of the Spears Mill Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, yard sales and was an avid UK basketball fan.

She is survived by three daughters, Kay (Larry) Webb, Joyce Ballinger and Alice (Larry) Oliver all of North Middletown; five grandchildren, Kim (William) Little, Bryan Rainey, Tessie (David) Abner, Brad (Kayla) Ballinger, Tonia (Eric) Dale; thirteen great grandchildren, Marinda Brown, Johnathan Brown, Shane Brown, Tabitha (Chris) Deskins, David Abner, Hopelynn Ballinger, Alexxi Ballinger, Christian Ballinger, Noah Ballinger, Anakin Ballinger, Aurora Ballinger, Holly Dale and Talia Little; two great great grandchildren, Hailey Abner and Theo Lanhart and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Clyde Rainey, Jr. and one brother, William Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday August 24, 2015 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Philip Ronk. Burial will be in the North Middletown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Sunday August 23, 2015 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Steve Roy, Carlos Platt, Ricky Claypoole, Tommy Mattox and Davis George.

Honorary pallbearers will be Janet Turner, Tommy Jackson, Tonia Dale, Brad Ballinger, Hopelynn Ballinger, Alexxi Ballinger and Christian Ballinger.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the M. E. Pruitt Funeral Home, 303 Main St., Millersburg, KY.
