LIBERTY -Mrs. Ida Gunter Council, 67, of Route 4 died Tuesday in N.C. Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, of which she was a member.
Mrs. Council was a Randolph County native and retired employee of Burlington Industries in Ramseur.
Survivors are husband, Ed Council; stepdaughter, Mrs. Ann Justice of Route 2, Pittsboro; sisters, Mrs. Lucy Kivett of Route 4 and Mrs. Edith Greeson of Route 1, Staley; four grandchildren.
The family will be at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty 7-9 p.m. today.
