Parents: Raymond Sidney and Edna May (Frazier) Kennicutt

Beulah attended school in Eddyville. She graduated from Eddyville High School in 1939.
She received a rural teaching certificate from Kearney State Teachers College (now UNK).
While teaching in Nebraska rural schools, she continued working towards a bachelor's degree
through summer school and correspondence courses. After six years in rural schools, she
moved to North Platte, Nebraska, and taught kindergarten for seven years.

After completing her BA, Beulah moved to Fort Collins, CO in 1953. She taught kindergarten
at LaPorte Avenue School and Bennett Elementary School for a total of twenty-eight years.
She received her MA from Colorado State College (now UNC) in Greeley in 1961.

Beulah was a life member of NEA, PERA, and PRSEA. She was a sixty-year member of Alpha
Delta Kappa, which is an honorary teacher's sorority. She attended many state, regional, and
International conventions.

Beulah was an active member of First United Methodist Church. She made many good friends
through various church activities and enjoyed serving the congregation any way she could. She
also enjoyed traveling and working in her yard.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. She is survived by two nephews,
four nieces, plus three generations of great nephews and nieces and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held 10 am, Thursday, September 14, 2023 at First United Methodist Church, 1005 Stover St, Ft. Collins, CO. A graveside service will be held 11 am, Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Viola Cemetery, Eddyville, Nebraska.
