Services Held for Mrs. Mabel Pugh
Last rites were held Monday afternoon at Terry Mortuary chapel in Soledad for Mrs. Mabel Pugh, 82, natife of the Fairview district in Gonzales.
She died last Friday afternoon in a Salinas hospital following a long illness.
Officiating at the services was the Rev. Thomas Patten, pastor of Gonzales Community church. Interment was at Gonzales Community cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Weaver, of the family home on River road, and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Laine and Mrs. Georgiana Rowe, both of Sacramento.
Mrs. Pugh's affiliations included membership in the Mite Society, Pricilla Mission circle and Gonzales Community Church.
Pallbearers were Richard Bernard, Frank Bianchi, Paul Bianchi, Jacob Pura, Edwin Harris and Eugene Reese.
