SCRANTON, Pa., Oct. 24.--(AP)--Mrs. Nora Jennings, widow of Hughie Jennings, famed baseball player and manager, died yesterday in a hospital after an illness of four months. She was 60 last Wednesday.
A former school teacher, she was born here where she resided virtually all her life. When stricken she returned here from Baltimore, Md., where she was serving as assistant director of a USO club.
She accompanied her husband on the 1924 Europian tour of the New York Giants and Chicago Cubs.
