Diana Jean Turner, 69, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Mountain Home. She was born August 13, 1946 in Lubbock, Texas to Lawrence and Nina (Ewing) McCurry.

Diana was an active board member of the Republican Women’s Club and the Northwest Arkansas Area Agency on Aging. In the past she had served Baxter County as a member of the Quorum Court (eight years) and Reserve Deputy Sheriff. She served in both the Buford and Clarkridge Volunteer Fire Departments. She was also a member of the Damsel Fly Fishers of Mountain Home.

Diana is survived by her husband, Richard Turner of the home; six children, Denise Phillips (Tyson) of Flippin, Deanna Anderson of Jonesboro, Eric Turner (Dixie) of Mountain Home, Shawn Turner (Keiko) of Prosper, Texas, Vicki Scott (Rob) of Mooresville, North Carolina and Mindy Turner of Overland Park, Kansas; twelve 12 grandchildren, Corbin, Kamryn, Blake, Kayla, Chris (Margie), Bailey, Michiyo, Kiyoshi, Shoji, Candice (Mike), Derek (Michelle) and Matthew; four great-grandchildren, Brentyn, Calen, Sarah Grace and Kayden.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
