Aged Resident of City Dies at Hospital
August Strzywski (sic), aged 88, passed away at the Holy Family hospital yesterday afternoon, after a nine months illness, death being due to infirmities of old age and rheumatism.
He was born in Poland, and came to America in 1858, and located here, residing here ever since. He was married to Elizabeth Grabovski, who preceded him in death 23 years ago.
Two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Kujawsky of Michigan and Mrs. Anna Andrastek, with whom he has made his home for the past year, survive. Twenty-two grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and one brother, Julius of this city also survive.
Burial will take place Saturday morning from St. Mary's church at 8:30 o'clock with Rev. Poelecha officiating. Interment at St. Mary's cemetery.
